Marble texture paint

Marble Texture Paint vs Real Marble Cladding

Both put marble on your wall — one as granules in a coating, one as slabs on a framework. Weight, cost logic, repair and where each genuinely belongs.

Marble texture paint puts crushed marble on the wall as a coating; marble cladding fixes cut slabs of it to the wall on adhesive or a framework. Both are real stone. The differences that matter are weight, structure, repairability and money — not whether one is "genuine".

The practical differences

Where cladding earns its cost

Floors, counters and low feature panels where the polished slab face and its veining are the whole point, viewed up close and touched. A lobby wall behind a reception desk is cladding territory.

Where texture is the better tool

Elevations and large exterior areas. Slab cladding across a whole facade is heavy, slow and expensive per square foot; a granule finish delivers the stone character across the same area at coating weight, and repairs blend instead of demanding a matched slab. This is why most Indian homes that want a stone-look exterior end up with texture outside and slabs, if anywhere, in small interior moments.

Frequently asked questions

Does texture paint look like slab marble?

No, and it does not try to. Slab marble reads as veined polished stone; texture reads as granular stone. They are different looks — choose by the look, not by imitation.

Which adds more value to a house?

Whichever suits the surface. A cracked, overloaded cladding job subtracts value; a crisp elevation in texture adds it. Execution beats material category.

Can both be used together?

Commonly — texture across the elevation, slab at the entrance surround. The materials share a family, so the pairing looks intentional.
