Choosing a Texture Paint Supplier: What to Check

For dealers, contractors and serious buyers: the six checks that separate a supply partner from a sack merchant, and the questions that reveal each.

Updated 2 min read

Texture material looks alike in sacks; suppliers stop looking alike the first time something needs matching, replacing or explaining. Whether you are a dealer stocking a counter, a contractor supplying sites, or an owner buying a whole elevation, the same six checks apply.

The six checks

1. Do they control their material?

Ask where the granules are processed and how lots are kept consistent. A manufacturer-supplier answers from their own line — Dikson manufactures and supplies its texture range from Hansi, Haryana — while a pure trader answers with a shrug toward their own supplier. Lot control is what shade-matching depends on later.

2. Will they show the real grain?

Photographed actual material and physical samples on request — not brochure renders. Our shade pages photograph every grain for exactly this check.

3. Is the system complete?

Granules, binder and guidance sold as one matched system — or dana from one place, binder "from anywhere", and the wall's failure from nowhere in particular. System suppliers stand behind results; component sellers stand behind components.

4. Do they answer technical questions plainly?

Coverage at a stated grain, working time, surface requirements — a supplier who answers specifically (or honestly says "depends, here is on what") is one whose material you can plan with. Vague superlatives are their own answer.

5. Can they meet trade terms?

Bulk quantities from single lots, dealer margins, delivery across India, GST billing. Put your real volumes to them through the B2B page and judge the reply's speed and precision.

6. What happens after the sale?

Reserve material against future repairs, a phone that answers about an application problem, willingness to say "that failure is workmanship, and here is why". Ask their existing trade customers — the after-sale reputation is the supplier.

For dealers specifically

Stock the shades your market asks for rather than the full card at once; keep the binder beside the dana so counter sales go out as systems; and lean on the supplier's photographs and guides — the advice section exists to be shown to your customers too. Dealership terms: start here.

Frequently asked questions

Should price be one of the six?

Price matters after the six — a fair rate on unmatched, unsupported material is not a fair rate. Compare quotes at equal grain, binder and lot terms (how quotes really differ).

Does Dikson supply outside Haryana?

Across India — tell us the destination and quantities via the B2B page and we will confirm logistics for your case.
